  1. Oh, I understand. I have those all the time. Breathe. Remind yourself that you like to write and post photos and we like to read your writing and ooh and ahh over your photos and share your life. Sending big hugs!

  2. Because here is where we get to say hi when otherwise we would all be worlds apart, literally and maybe never cross paths. Nothing to write just post us one of your gorgeous pictures :-).

  3. What are you doing here? Making connections, sharing, being generally awesome, finding long lost Portuguese twin separated at birth, making us laugh at your funny stories and teary-eyed at your poignant stories, giving yourself a creative outlet that doesn't involve flame or power tools, amazing us all with your mad photog skillz...shall I go on? :) Hang in there!

  4. Oh, you lovely, lovely ladies... I never expected to be so touched by your responses to the post. I just wanted to put something out there to explain my silence.

Lemon Gloria - I might have known you'd be the first to reach out with some encouragement.

Go-Betty - we truly are worlds apart and you are right... the whole reason I started this this here bloggy thing was to serve as an open letter to my friends. I just never knew how instrumental it would be in making new ones!

Leo - Of course! Finding a long lost Portuguese twin has been one of the best surprises. And you are right, this creative outlet is much safer than some of the other options.

Leanne - I may take you up on that very kind offer.

Thanks so much all, I really, really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

I just tried to write from my phone, but it conked out on me. I didn't see this until this morning, but it looks like you are having one of those moments. I know all about those meltdowns, when you are just wondering what is the point of it all.

You have been one of the most wonderful, supportive, people here that I have met -- besides being a genuine, gentle and truly giving person. I was so excited to actually TALK to you a few weeks ago. You are a wonderful teacher, and you really helped me to understand the whole Tweet Deck thing. Now it sounds like you remember how much you give back to the Universe: in your writing, in your very existence.

Please know that I am here for you. So many of forget that we can reach out (I know I did) when we get like this. But you can email me or even call -- if you still have my digits! I wake for bloggers! Especially the ones who let me sit at their lunch table -- even when I was kind of dorky and new and didn't know what I was doing. And that was you. You cocooned me, and I'd like the chance to return the favor. SO if you need me, call me. Even know. I'm up up up! I'm emailing you, right now!

  7. Renee - Thanks for paying-it-forward and passing some encouragement on to me.

Sadie - Oh, thank you for saying that. It's a good reminder that even if I can't change the world, there are people that want to hear about my little existence in it.

  8. Krys, I adore you. Don't worry about what you have to be or are expected to be, just BE. We love you just the way you are. Don't ever change. Love you much. You've helped me through so many crises I've lost count. You are a true friend. And may I remind you, kindred spirit, that we only know each other because of blogging? Stick around.
